Paraprofessional Assistant Job Summary

As a Substitute Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting our school's educational mission by assisting teachers and ensuring students receive necessary guidance and support throughout their day.

This position offers a flexible schedule and the chance to contribute to the education and development of students in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups
• Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class
• Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials
• Supervise students in various settings, including the cafeteria, schoolyard, and hallways
• Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs / 504 Plans
