The Banquet Director is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of banquet operations at Country Club of the South, ensuring flawless execution of private events, member functions, weddings, and club-sponsored activities. This individual will lead the banquet team in delivering exceptional service, maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, and creating memorable experiences that reflect the club's commitment to excellence. The Banquet Director will also work with the Private Events department & Member Experience department to execute events.
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned :
- Direct and manage all banquet operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
- Ensure events are executed in accordance with club standards, event orders, and member expectations.
- Oversee banquet staff scheduling, labor management, and cost controls.
- In charge of weekly linen ordering for events.
- Collaborate closely with the catering sales team, culinary department, and other club leaders to ensure seamless event delivery.

Hospitality degree preferredMinimum 5 years of banquet or event management experience, preferably in a private club, luxury hotel, or high-end hospitality setting.Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Proficiency in event management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Physical Requirements
