Overview

Tank Barge PIC (Shoreside / MMC Required) — Peoria, IL. PSC Group is seeking licensed Tank Barge PIC (formerly known as Tankerman) to serve in a vital role in the nation's petroleum and chemical shipping industry. The Tank Barge PIC serves as the person-in-charge of critical operations, with the responsibility of protecting the environment by ensuring the safe transfer of petrochemicals to barges. This position requires a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC).

Work Schedule

Work Schedule (Depending on Location) : 6 days on call (24hr call) and 3 days off

Pay

Pay Range : $34.00 - $41.50 per hour (varies with experience). Competitive pay with growth opportunities; mileage reimbursement available, along with other incentives.

Job Requirements

• Must hold a current U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) with Tank Barge PIC (DL) Endorsement
• Must have a current TWIC card and valid driver's license (reliable transportation and telephone)
• One year of experience as a Tank Barge PIC preferred
