Location : Mt. Vernon, IN (on border of Posey and Vanderburgh Counties)

Pay : $33 / hour, based on experience

Schedule : Monday-Friday | 8-hour shifts | Start times : 6am or 7am (rotating)

Overtime : Paid at 1.5x

Benefits : Medical, dental, vision (effective within 30 days)

Retirement : 401(k) with 1% match

Time Off : 23 PTO days + 10 paid holidays (or double pay if you work a holiday)

Your Role in the Lab :

You'll take ownership of routine and complex procedures using specialized instruments, reagents, and biological samples. We're looking for professionals who take pride in their precision, stay calm under pressure, and can work independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities Include :

Preparing reagents and equipment for study protocols

Performing routine and advanced lab procedures with accuracy

Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting lab instruments

Recording data with precision and compliance

Participating in training, cross-functional work, and continuous improvement

Ensuring safety and confidentiality standards are met

Qualifications :

MLS (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP) certification preferred

Prior lab experience required; research or preclinical lab experience a plus

Proven ability to follow protocols and interpret results accurately

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and working on your feet

Strong communication and documentation skills

Work Environment :

Hands-on work with solvents, acids, biological samples, and animal dander

PPE required (gloves, masks, safety glasses)

TB test (or chest X-ray) required for employment
