Description
Natasha A. Smith, CPA LLC, is seeking a full-time administrative assistant with professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, energetic self-starter who possesses strong computer literacy and communication skills. He / She must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and working with multiple clients and on several projects throughout the day. Must be a team player and work well with others.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephones and greet clients
- Assemble tax returns, financial statements, and other presentation materials
- Maintain an orderly filing system for business and individual client permanent records
- Maintain schedules and calendars, arrange meetings, staff meals, and appointments
- Set up and maintain client information in the firm's database
- Order basic office supplies and maintain office supply inventory
- Process and distribute mail, generic / main incoming emails
- Assisting clients with non-technical requests
- Run errands as needed (post office, bank, etc)
- Light cleaning duties and restocking the breakroom area
- Other duties as may be assigned by Partners, Managers, or Firm Administrator
Qualifications
At least two years of prior office experience, at least one year working for a CPA firmProficient knowledge of MS Office products, Outlook, Word and ExcelComfortable learning and using new software products, firm technology, and internal proceduresStrong communication, administrative, and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsProfessional attitude and appearance
