Duties, Responsibilities & Other

The CM in Training supports roadway and bridge construction projects. This role assists with directing inspection and material testing efforts across various projects. This role has a strong educational foundation in construction management principles and should be eager to continue to develop their skills in a dynamic work environment. This opportunity is intended for Spring 2026 graduates, with the position starting in Summer 2026.

• Support the oversight of project budgets and participate in quality assurance of contractor work to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Assist in preparing monthly and final cost estimates, and composing contract change orders to ensure accurate and timely financial tracking.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation to ensure all project records are up to date and easily accessible.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, contractors, and designers to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
• Availability for day and / or night work to support the contractor's schedule.
