Position Summary
As a 1099 physiatrist, you will be responsible for the diagnosing and providing direct specialist services to patients for pain management and physical rehabilitation from work related injuries. You will work in a team environment with physical therapists, chiro, acupuncture among other clinical staff under the referral of the occupational medicine physician. You’ll also collaborate with employers in active case management.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of physical disabilities and conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, and neurological disorders from work-related injuries ; assess patients’ medical history, physical exams, and x-rays
- Develop individualized treatment plans that may include physical therapy, therapeutic exercises, medications , injections, and non- surgical interventions to improve function and m obility
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and medical doctor s, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients on their con ditions and its prevention and the rehabilitation process
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in EMR
