Job description

Overview

We are seeking Technical Directors in the Chief Engineering organization for upcoming international programs in the TPY-4 system, a Next Gen Radar.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical scope on select TPY-4 radar system program(s).
  • Develop modifications to existing products to meet unique customer needs.
  • Serve as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture.
  • Ensure conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system.
  • Develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.
  • Support internal and external design reviews.
  • Present to customers and senior management and tailor the material based on the audience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 9 years of professional experience.
  • Knowledge of Radar theory.
  • Experience working with and / or designing radar systems.
  • Experience with MATLAB.
  • Final Secret clearance.
  • Desired Skills

  • Understanding of the RF / Analog, Digital, and Software building blocks of a radar system.
  • Radar system performance modeling.
  • Radar system tactical data analysis.
  • Understanding of radar signal processing algorithms.
  • Radar System Architecture Experience with TPY-4 product.
  • Radar emulation / signal and data processing in Matlab.
  • Radar system integration and test experience.
  • Requirements analysis and definition.
  • Experience with Electronic Protection algorithms.
  • Ability to operate as the program engineering POC for Customers, Senior Leadership and the Program Office in a mentored environment.
  • Experience interfacing with international customers.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, for audiences ranging from internal engineering teams, to internal executive stakeholders and the external customer community.
  • Security Clearance Statement

    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
