4×10s : 11 : 00 AM – 9 : 00 PM

5×8s : 1 : 00 PM – 9 : 00 PM

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hrs / week

📝 Job Summary

Seeking PACU RN for day / evening coverage

Call Requirement : Roughly 1 weekend every 6 weeks

May also float or assist in Night PACU if needed

ECT procedure experience is a plus

🧠 Ideal Experience

ICU or Pediatric experience preferred

Strong PACU recovery skills, especially for :

Ortho

Neuro

General surgery

ENT

Ability to handle trauma cases

Total ORs : 23

Total cases / day : 50–70 (very busy, high-volume)

Academic teaching hospital environment

EMR : Cerner – Soarian (2010 version)

✅ Required Certifications

BLS (AHA)

ACLS

License : Will accept candidates willing to obtain license

Trauma level : Not specified, but sees trauma cases

Call : Occasional, about every 6th weekend

RTO Policy : Not listed – best to keep RTO minimal or under 7 days

Experienced PACU RN comfortable with high-acuity , fast-paced recovery

Familiar with trauma , neuro , and ortho post-op patients

Flexible with working evening shifts and occasional call

Preferably has ICU or peds background to support unit variety

Willing to work in a busy, academic surgical center
