Job descriptionDec 22-26 Dec 29,2025 Jan 2,2026 Feb 12-15, 2026 (includes weekend) Patient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : Average 8 12 new consults / day Admissions : No Rounding : Included Phone Consults : No Case Mix : General Cardiology Consults Only No. of Beds in Department : TBD Trauma Level : TBD EMR System : Epic Office Equipment Available : TBD Specialty Backup Available : Second call physician available Support Staff Available : TBD Reason for Coverage : Supplemental coverage for inpatient cardiology consults Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : No Credentialing Timeline : 30 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Inpatient general cardiology consultations Follow-up consultations Testing as applicable Licenses : Active FL medical license Board : Letter of Board Eligibility DEA : Active DEA Certification Certifications : BLS and ACLS through AHA; NICA membership required Experience : Prior inpatient cardiology experience preferred Other Qualifications : Completion of MSO orientation and Epic training prior to first scheduled shift; Case logs from the past 12 months (primary source only, no gaps) Provide new general cardiology consultations during scheduled shifts Collaborate with second call physician for patient coverage Perform follow-up consultations and testing as required Attend MSO orientation (remote) and Epic inpatient training (onsite if required) Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR system
