As a Cybersecurity Engineer working alongside our Cybersecurity Architecture team, you'll be on the front line of protecting computer systems and networks from the ever-evolving landscape of hacking, viruses, and malicious attacks.

Through the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of security solutions you'll ensure the utmost confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. As a Cybersecurity Engineer you'll oversee incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber threat hunting. You'll execute security solutions applying cutting-edge technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanners. Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain logical security controls using CA-ACF2, RACF, or Top Secret on z / OS systems
• Define and manage access rules, logon IDs, UID strings, and resource permissions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams : zOS, Network, Automation, Storage, CICS, DB2, IMS
• Install and upgrade mainframe security products; support zOS management
• Respond to incidents and service requests; resolve security-related issues
• Manage SSL and digital certificates; provide 24x7 standby support for Sev1 / 2 issues
• Customize system and hardware layout for security optimization
• Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises and zOS cloning services
• Secure infrastructure and customer application resources
• Implement and monitor global system security policies
• Generate and deliver mainframe security reports
• Support corporate and client audits with detailed documentation
• Provide guidance based on Kyndryl's CSD and CIS Benchmark standards
• Apply HIPAA, PCI, DISA STIGS, and NIST requirements to system configurations
• Evaluate and implement software / application security across subsystems (CICS, DB2, IMS, MQSeries, etc.)
• Create / update / run JCL jobs to support security changes and monitoring
• Analyze data and write reports using RACFRW, ETF / A, zSecure, VRA, SAS, etc.
• Develop scripts using REXX, Clist, CARLa
• Manage Problem and Change tickets using IPC tools
• Present security concepts to management and clients with clarity and confidence
• Use MS Word, Excel, and terminal emulators (TN3270, Reflections, etc.) effectively
• Lead projects and meetings as a self-starter with minimal supervision

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $110,880 to $210,600 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations : California : $122,040 to $252,840 Colorado : $110,880 to $210,600 New York City : $133,080 to $252,840 Washington : $122,040 to $231,720 Washington DC : $122,040 to $231,720 This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note : If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
