Department Profile :

The Labor & Delivery Unit at Duke Regional Hospital is comprised of 17 -beds.This unit delivery an average of 200 patients each month.

Education

Work requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree.

Incumbents in this job classification effective on or before 10 / 01 / 2015 who currently hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma may remain in this classification under a "grandfathered" status.

Transferring to another job classification will require that all minimum qualifications of that job be met and will result in a loss of grandfathering status for this classification.

Experience

Applicants must meet all requirements set forth by the DUHS Career Ladder Program for the Level IV.

Degrees, Licensures, Certifications

Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.

BLS certification is required.
