Contract Business Systems Analyst

Overview

TechnoSmarts has a Contract Business Systems Analyst position with their Client located in Richmond, VA. This is a 12 month contract with potential for extension and is a Hybrid position.

BSA required with technical background to support SW development IT Projects (Waterfall / Agile).

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks related to business analysis, conduct analysis, determine problems, identify business needs, elicit requirements, and manage stakeholders to meet business and project objectives. During execution, they facilitate the implementation of the Product, service, or result of the project.
• Act as the link between the Product Owner / Business Owner and the technical IT team.
• Define project scope and risk analysis.
• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer between stakeholders and the development team.
• Track metrics like user adoption and engagement to identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate user acceptance tests and business validation discussions and meetings.
• Help to ensure that continuous prioritization of requirements.
• As an Agile Business Analyst (Agile BA) who understands and experienced with the Agile methodology to help using business Agile principles, work with stakeholders to help them understand the benefits of Agile and how it can help their business. They also help the development team understand the business requirements and how they can be met using Agile methods.
• Analyze the Business Domain initiatives to identify epics and features requirements.
• Help Product Owner develop and manage Product strategy.
• Stock and refine the Product Catalog.
• Help break user stories into Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
• Help development team understand bigger picture.
• Convert business requirements into business process flows and functional requirements.
• Serve as Proxy Product Owner / Business Lead customers needed.
