Certification and Regulatory Compliance will support all aspects of project certification and regulatory compliance for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Project. This role ensures compliance with international standards and federal regulations, oversees technical documentation, and coordinates across multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the commercial contract management of the Certified Verification Agent (CVA) for design, fabrication, transportation, and installation activities.Coordinate certification processes for offshore assets including export cables, array cables, offshore substations, foundations, and wind turbine generatorsOversee development, submission, and federal agency review of the facility as-builts, critical safety systems and equipment commissioning, and Fabrication and Installation report according to 30 CFR Part 285 regulations.Collaborate with environmental permitting teams to maintain technical consistency across federal and state permits.Review schedules to determine permitting critical paths and work with stakeholders for on-time submissions.Review certification audit and inspection reports, recommend process improvements, and implement corrective actions.Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements and certification standards.Coordinate document reviews and on-site inspections with the CVA for each work package.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience :

Strong knowledge of 30 CFR Part 285 regulationsHigh Level Project Overview : Dominion Energy is constructing the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) Project which will consist of 176 wind turbine generators, 3 offshore substations, and 9 export cables. The completed project will generate a total of 2.6-gigawatts – enough clean, sustainable energy to power up to 660,000 homes.Onshore and Offshore construction is currently underway and expected to be completed in late 2026.Preferred Years of Experience :
