About the role :
The Nuclear Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ITAAC Engineer to join our Regulatory team in Columbia, South Carolina. This role will be responsible for supporting the verification and closure of Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria (ITAAC) to ensure that nuclear facility construction and modifications comply with all applicable regulatory requirements and design specifications.
The ITAAC Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the successful transition of new or modified nuclear facilities from construction to operation. This position will involve interpreting ITAAC requirements, collecting and organizing evidence, preparing ITAAC closure documentation, and interacting with regulatory agencies to demonstrate compliance with the Combined Operating License (COL).
Responsibilities :
Interpret and understand specific ITAAC requirements as defined in the Combined Operating License (COL) and associated design documents.
Interpret and apply federal regulations, regulatory guides, and industry standards related to ITAAC and nuclear facility commissioning.
Support the preparation of responses to NRC inquiries and requests for additional information related to ITAAC closure.
Support the implementation of processes and procedures to ensure robust ITAAC verification and compliance.
Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, quality assurance, and operations teams to understand technical aspects relevant to ITAAC completion.

Estimated Starting Salary Range :
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
