About The Position

Job Title : OR Tech / Surgical Tech

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) and 8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in General OR and trauma OR, Level I Trauma Center experience required

License : Must hold an active license applicable to the position

Certifications : BLS required, CST preferred

Must-Have :

• Strong trauma, vascular, and neuro skillset

Description :

The position is for an OR tech specializing in surgical support within a trauma environment.

This role requires experience with both general operating room procedures and trauma-specific operations.

Candidates must possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

Responsibilities include assisting surgeons during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and managing surgical instruments effectively.

The OR tech will be required to float to different areas as needed, contributing to various surgical teams.

Additionally, candidates must be prepared to work one weekend per month and participate in on-call duties.

The candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.

Documentation and charting will be conducted using an electronic medical record system.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a high standard of patient care.
