Overview

Flagger - Traffic Control -EVENT STAFF

Pay Rate : $19.00 per hour

Job Type : On Call

Location : Elkton, MD

Shift & Schedule : Mornings and Evenings, Weekends

We are seeking reliable and attentive Event Flaggers to assist with traffic control and vehicle flow at a special event in Elkton, MD. This is a temporary position from October 16 though October 19, 2025.

Responsibilities :

  • Direct vehicles and pedestrians to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Communicate with parking staff and leadership to manage parking areas

Requirements :

  • Must be punctual
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

    What we're looking for :

  • Direct patrons where to park.
  • Complete the daily shift paperwork by recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out of the facility, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, number of validated tickets and exception tickets.
  • Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit.
  • May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists.
  • Other special projects as assigned by location management.

    • Must haves :

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • High School degree preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer.
  • Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner.

    • Good to haves :

  • Valet parking : 1 year+
  • Customer service : 1 year+
