Job Responsibilities
- The Chair is responsible for the quality of educational, scientific, and clinical programs, as well as the overall leadership and management of this highly diverse and respected department.
- This oversight includes the appropriate and optimal use of human, financial, space, and other resources to successfully manage the clinical, educational, and research missions of the department.
Essential Job Functions
Ensure the quality of educational, scientific, and clinical programs.Lead and manage the department effectively, utilizing resources efficiently.Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited medical school.Completed an ACGME-approved residency in orthopedic surgery.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.Eligible for a Texas Medical license without restrictions.Salary
Commensurate with experience.
