• Work 10-hour day shifts as Cath Lab / IR Tech
• Handle 8-12 patient caseload per shift
• 15 shifts required per month
• On-call duties required with weekend call - 1 full weekend per month
• STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation with 2-hour guaranteed callback
• Must be able to work in both Cath Lab and IR (required)
• 3 years of experience required
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT MD License, or RCIS
• Must have strong cath lab experience and ability to work in interventional radiology
• Perform procedures including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion / programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, and temporary pacemaker procedures
• Maintain sterile field and scrub duties
• Handle elective caths (diagnostic and interventional), RHC, STEMI, IABP and pacemaker procedures
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Neuro intervention experience preferred
• Use Cerner and McKesson charting systems
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine testing - any nicotine use results in automatic cancellation
• May float within hospital or to affiliate hospital nearby
