Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Medical Lab Technician

MLT

Full-Time

Medical Lab Technician candidates will have the following job responsibilities :

  • Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology.
  • Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and / or nurses about abnormal results.
  • Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.

Medical Lab Technician

MLT

Full-Time

Medical Lab Technician candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications :

  • Medical laboratory experience preferred. Must have FL STATE license in hand OR IF APPLIED ALREADY. they are willing to train based on any years of experience had.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates Degree or higher is preferred
  • MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification required
  • State of Florida Medical Laboratory Technician License
