Intervention Specialist – Kindergarten (Long-Term Substitute)

School Year 2025–2026

Forestlawn Early Learning Center

Position Begins : November 2025 and continues for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist (K–12) license
• Prior experience as an Intervention Specialist preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Ability to instruct students in both general education and resource room settings
• Knowledge and experience writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collecting supporting data
• Knowledge and experience implementing academic and social-emotional / behavioral interventions
• Familiarity with Ohio's Learning Standards
• Such other qualifications as the Board may deem necessary under law
