We are looking for a skilled Bank Credit Analyst to join our team on a Contract basis in Scottsdale, Arizona. This position involves supporting a startup financial institution, focusing on credit underwriting and cash flow analysis. The role requires a strong background in commercial credit analysis and loan underwriting, with the ability to work onsite or in a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze and underwrite new credit originations, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Prepare detailed loan presentations using templates, highlighting risks, covenants, and key financial information.
• Conduct personal and business credit spreads, including cash flow modeling and analysis.
• Monitor loan covenants and assess financial performance to identify potential risks.
• Utilize credit reporting tools such as Abrigo and Experian to gather and evaluate credit information.
• Provide support for residential mortgage-related tasks, including credit evaluation with CredCo systems.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and timely credit reporting and documentation.
• Manage portfolio reviews and contribute to maintaining a strong approval process.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for decision-making purposes.
• Work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial credit analysis and loan underwriting.
• Proficiency in using credit analysis software such as Abrigo and familiarity with Experian and CredCo systems.
• Strong understanding of cash flow tables, modeling, and financial statement analysis.
• Experience in preparing loan presentations and monitoring loan covenants.
• Knowledge of KYC processes and banking credit analysis principles.
• Ability to manage a portfolio effectively and meet production goals.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate financial assessments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment.
