Partner with the best

You will guide strategy to enhance user acquisition, activation, and revenue for the cloud product. Collaborating across product, marketing, growth, community, and revenue teams to design seamless user journeys. You'll convert technical practitioners into paying customers through effective engagement strategies and implementing PLG motions for B2B technology to help overall revenue growth.

As Senior Director Product Lead Growth Marketer, you will be responsible for :

Executing the overall cloud PLG marketing strategy and roadmap aligned to product experience and revenue goals.

Partnering with senior leadership to embed PLG as a key growth engine across the cloud business.

Leading cross-functional a team of growth marketers, analysts, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and developer relations.

Designing and launch programs that build awareness, attract users, and support developer engagement.

Defining PLG metrics across the funnel, using data to optimize user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization

Analyzing and enhancing onboarding and self-service flows through experimentation to reduce friction and drive growth.

Developing free-to-paid and land-and-expand strategies based on product usage, in partnership with product and sales.

Ensuring alignment across messaging, product experience, customer success, and internal evangelism of PLG best practices

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will :

Have 15 years of experience and Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field

Be experience in product management, growth, or marketing roles and and have deep PLG knowledge

Have proven success implementing PLG strategies for B2B SaaS products, cloud services or developer tools

Be versed in cloud infrastructure, PaaS / IaaS business models, and developer / IT buyer personas

Have expertise in SaaS growth metrics and pricing models, including CAC, LTV, expansion revenue, freemium, and usage-based strategies

Be analytical and data-driven decision-maker, with experience in A / B testing and translating insights into strategic growth actions

Enjoy leading teams in a cross-functional environment with ability to navigate and influence across the organization

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $164,400 - $341,600 / year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
