Military And Law Enforcement Position
You will administer anti-terrorism, force protection, physical security, and law enforcement services for the protection of life and property.
You will coordinate emergency response for calls concerning complaints or reports of violations.
You will enforce traffic laws and issue citations for violations (e.g., speeding, reckless driving, driving under the influence).
You will implement force protection measures in compliance with laws and regulations.
You will respond to calls for service (e.g., duress and intrusion detection alarms, emergency calls, complaints) to take action for resolution.
You will prepare detailed reports, forms, and citations concerning all incidents and action taken.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

This position is considered Key / Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. You will be required to sign a DD-Form-2760, Qualification to possess firearms or ammunition.
Employee must successfully pass an initial, annual, or any required OPM, DoD, or DON mental and emotional stability screening, Physical Agility Test, and medical screening.
You must meet the qualifications and be certified to carry a firearm. You will need to maintain firearm proficiency.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and / or unusual duty hours may be required.
You will be required to wear a uniform and comply with grooming standards. Must meet OPM hearing and vision requirements to include distinguishing basic shades of color.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and / or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Must qualify for and maintain an emergency vehicle operator endorsement.
You will be required to possess and maintain a valid license.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following :
1) Directing and making immediate decisions in the provisions of law enforcement (LE), antiterrorism (AT), and Force Protection (FP);
2) Performing a full range of duties and responsibilities in preventing terrorist activities, resolving offenses, conducting preliminary and ongoing investigations of incidents;
3) Documenting law enforcement and security events and the issuance of citations; and,
4) Implementing FPCON measures and RAM in the the response to command direction and terrorist threats.

Must successfully complete a required Police Training Academy or equivalent course, e.g., Navy Police Officer Academy; a federal or military police academy; or equivalent law enforcement training. Must also successfully complete any annual sustainment training, Level 1 Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) contamination training (if applicable), and OC refresher training.
