Patient Service Representative (PSR) - Neurology, Biddeford

Schedule : Full-Time

Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Consistent daytime schedule (no weekends or holidays)

Position Summary :

MaineHealth is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our Neurology team in Biddeford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in healthcare - no prior experience is required , and comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

As a PSR, you will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for greeting, registering, and scheduling patients, managing phone calls, and supporting daily front office operations in a fast-paced neurology practice.

Key Responsibilities :

Greet and check in patients with professionalism and compassion

Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars

Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately

Collect and verify insurance and patient information

Assist with administrative tasks and patient flow

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education : High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License / Certifications : N / A
• Experience : Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.
• Additional Skills / Requirements Required : N / A
• Additional Skills / Requirements Preferred : Proficient computer skills.
