POSITION SUMMARY
This paid internship experience offers the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of the various functions within the accounting department at Lumbermen's and to assist in a variety of tasks and projects. Interns will be able to work alongside leaders throughout our organization and will complete a special project to help better our organization going forward. Specific opportunities this position offers include :
Learning cash application process and completing transactions
Reviewing, coding, and matching invoices prior to payment
Assisting with month-end and year-end close
Upon completion of each area of focus above, one area will be selected and, upon approval by Lumbermen's, the student will complete a special project. At the completion of the project, it will be presented to the department leadership team.
