Market Operations Specialist
The main purpose of this job is to assist bankers and management with any operation situations and provide guidance on operational policies, procedures, and processes.
Will travel to various branch locations covering Chesterfield, Town and Country, Twin Oaks, Ellisville, Fenton, and Eureka.
Essential functions include :
- Assist bankers and management with any operational situations and provide guidance on operational policies, procedures, and processes
- Develop basic understanding of where to go for answers and how best to escalate situations
- Visit assigned branches 2 3 times each week to complete a variety of operational tasks
- Perform cash drawer, vault, recycler / dispenser, and consigned items audits at assigned branches.
- Review EOA, Absence and VAC audits are completed correctly
- Review all night drop and consigned item logs for completion
- Verify the collection and proper completion of new accounts, CIP, Beneficial Owners, and name change documentation
- Review opening / closing procedures
- Assists with SDB key audits, box drills, will searches, and audit exception resolution
- Educate bankers regarding any cash differences, balancing errors and TCS errors
- Facilitate operational huddles / MOS Operational Overview Course and training at the branch
- Evaluate team members' operational knowledge and regularly provide feedback to leadership
- Utilize rubric and compile monthly evaluations for branch management
- Help rollout and support different initiatives, projects, and changes to the branches
- Recommend process improvements for the Market Operation Specialist (MOS) program
- Provide appropriate support for the Operational Centers of Excellence
- Perform other duties as assigned
