Job Description

Position Summary

Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships for IT hardware, software, and professional services. This role supports business objectives by driving cost savings, ensuring supplier performance, and maintaining compliance with procurement policies.

Here's What You'll Do

  • Lead IT Sourcing : Manage sourcing activities for IT products and services, including RFx creation, supplier evaluation, and contract execution.
  • Negotiate with Suppliers : Handle contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments to achieve favorable pricing and terms.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders : Work with IT, finance, and legal teams to ensure procurement supports business goals.
  • Analyze Spend : Review spend data and market trends to find cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage Contracts : Oversee contract setup and compliance using procurement tools.
  • Maintain Supplier Relationships : Build and manage relationships with key IT suppliers and monitor their performance.
  • Communicate with Leadership : Present procurement strategies and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Mitigate Risks : Identify and address supplier and contract risks proactively.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Here's What You'll Need

  • Education : Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience : 5+ years in procurement or sourcing, ideally with IT or indirect spend categories.
  • Certifications : CPSM or CPM are a plus, but not required.
  • Sourcing & Negotiation : Experience managing sourcing events (RFx) and negotiating IT contracts.
  • Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze spend data and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Contract Knowledge : Familiarity with basic contract terms and supplier governance.
  • Tool Proficiency : Comfortable using procurement and contract management tools.
  • Business Understanding : General knowledge of budgeting and cost control.
