Job Details

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead productivity initiatives and build a strong culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) across the plant.
  • Conduct time studies, process mapping, and workflow analysis to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce waste.
  • Collect and analyze production data using Lean / Six Sigma tools (Pareto, SPC, DOE) to identify trends and improve performance.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing methods (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping) to streamline processes and boost efficiency.
  • Support Six Sigma projects to improve quality, reduce defects, and minimize variation.
  • Partner with plant leadership and operators to implement standardized work procedures and best practices.
  • Lead Kaizen workshops and train employees in CI tools (PDCA, process flow, problem-solving).
  • Develop and update SOPs to ensure lasting improvements.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on roadmaps that drive the plant toward world-class (Silver / Gold) manufacturing standards.
  • What We’re Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of process improvement or manufacturing engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Green Belt or higher preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean tools : 5S, Kaizen, Line Balancing, SMED, OEE, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Minitab, or similar).
  • Familiarity with ERP / MES systems and quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
  • Hands-on problem solver who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel 10–15% as needed.
