Baptist Health Urgent Care is excited to invite skilled ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technologists to join our dynamic team.

JOB SUMMARY :

As an X-Ray Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care by performing x-ray tests and assisting with various medical procedures. Your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic equipment will be essential to ensuring patient safety and comfort.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

The following duties highlight the primary expectations for this role, but are not exhaustive. You may be asked to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

• Warmly greet patients as they arrive in the waiting and exam areas.
• Maintain clear communication with patients about wait times and their next steps in the treatment process.
• Address patient concerns and seek assistance in emergency situations when necessary.
• Conduct follow-up calls promptly to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Offer assistance to front desk staff with Patient Check-in / Check-out as required.
• Accurately record patient vital signs, medical history, medications, and relevant information.
• Support safe patient transfers and assist providers during procedures.
• Ensure timely and quality radiology tests for accurate evaluations.
• Perform quality control checks to guarantee reliable imaging results.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report any issues to the Manager or on-duty provider.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and maintain necessary licenses and certifications.

SCHEDULE :

Full-time employees work a rotating 36-40 hour / week schedule, including 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
