Overview
The User Experience team is looking for a UX Content Designer. We’re a highly collaborative group of designers with a passion for making healthcare accessible and understandable. We work on a wide variety of complex digital projects with numerous stakeholders across a distributed organization. The right person cares about quality content design and the opportunity to go deep but also enjoys casual editorial consultations with other members of the team.
Responsibilities
- Leading content design for small- to medium-sized projects
- Developing UX content strategy based on business requirements, including information architecture and user flows
- Conducting content audits, evaluating existing experience, and analyzing competitor experiences
- Delivering microcopy that meets design system standards
- Working with leadership, UX team, and project management to establish sprint deliverables
- Researching, evangelizing, and following best practices for UX content strategy and UX writing
- Collaborating closely with other UX designers, particularly interaction and visual designers, and UX researchers
- Tracking down answers from subject matter experts and other partners
- Building alignment between UX team members, product managers, and developers
- Meeting grade level requirements and creating content for non-native English speakers
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in UX writing, information architecture, and content strategy for products used on a variety of devicesExperience that includes most, if not all, of the items listed under “Responsibilities”Figma or Sketch skillsA portfolio showcasing projects with clear, concise UX writing and content strategy artifacts. Case studies are a huge plus.An English or Journalism degree (desirable but not required)Desired Skills
