About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Systems Engineer with a strong foundation in financial systems , data science , and quantitative analysis . This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, finance, and analytics , and wants to design robust infrastructure and tools that drive decision-making in a data-driven financial environment.
As part of our engineering team, you’ll work on building and maintaining the core systems that support lending, risk modeling, securitization analytics, and data pipelines. You should be passionate about clean code, scalable architecture, and bringing quantitative insights to life in production environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable systems and infrastructure using Python .
- Build and optimize data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and analysis.
- Collaborate with underwriters, closers, and finance teams to develop tools and models.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and automation in production environments.
- Contribute to internal APIs, libraries, and frameworks that support lending workflows.
- Maintain documentation and testing for systems and models in production.
Required Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in Python programming with a focus on systems engineering or backend development.Strong understanding of systems design , software architecture , and production-level codebases.Some experience in primary or secondary financial markets , trading systems, or finance-focused applications.Some knowledge of data science workflows, statistical analysis, and quantitative finance techniques.Familiarity with tools such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn , or similar.Comfortable working with large datasets , databases and data processing tools.Why Join Us?
