Description :

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medsurg / ED / Swing RN position.

The role involves working with patients presenting with various diagnoses including CHF and pneumonia.

The nurse will be part of a small, experienced team.

Teamwork is essential, but the ability to work independently is also important.

Flexibility and adaptability are key attributes for success in this role.

The nurse must be focused on providing quality and safe patient care.

There is a charge nurse on each shift who takes an assignment.

Patient care techs are available, with a ratio of 1 : 10.

The nurse will rotate holiday duties and work every third weekend.

The environment is one of critical access, requiring strong critical thinking skills.

All staff are expected to promote a positive workplace culture.

Compliance with the fingernail policy is mandatory for patient care roles.

RTO needs to be provided upfront, as additional requests will not be approved.

The hospital reserves the right to cancel shifts as necessary.
