Operations In The Information Environment Officer

The Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) Officer (IO) to lead, direct, and oversee the integration of Information Forces (IRCs) into strategic and operational planning, and mission execution. Advise command staff, manage IO strategy development, and ensure alignment with operational objectives and policy directives. This position will directly support the APOLLO program (formerly known as OPIAS Operational Planning, Implementation, and Assessment Services).

Primary responsibilities include :

• Provide command-level leadership for IO planning and execution.
• Serve as a senior advisor to commanders on integrating Information Forces (IRCs) into strategic, operational, and tactical operations.
• Lead planning and synchronization of capabilities such as SAP / STO, Civil Affairs, Public Affairs, MISO, EW, MILDEC, OPSEC, and Cyber.
• Oversee development and implementation of OIE campaign plans, assessment frameworks, and policy recommendations.
• Engage senior leadership, interagency counterparts, and international partners on OIE coordination and guidance.
• Recommend adjustments to command structures, force design, or policy to enhance OIE effectiveness.
• Supervise and mentor OIE staff across multiple commands and task forces.
• Represent OIE equities in joint planning groups, command-level briefings, and interagency forums.
• Maintain awareness of current technologies and best practices across OIE.

Pay Range : $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
