About The Position

Job Title : Radiographer II

Profession : Radiographer

Specialty : -

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the specialty required

License : ARDMS, ARRT and / or CCI credentials in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty required by the hiring department must be current upon hire or advancement.

Certifications : AHA BLS

Must-Have :

• Knowledge of the techniques of diagnostic radiography.
• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of radiographic equipment.
• Ability to prioritize assignments.
• Ability to assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information in an understandable way.
• Computer skills.

Description :

Under general supervision, performs advanced professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations.

Circulates to other diagnostic radiology areas as assigned by the supervisor.

Recognized as an expert in the field.

Participates in a training program to enhance knowledge and skills in specialized radiology areas or modalities.

Operates standard and portable radiology equipment to perform radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies.

Assists physicians and performs specialized imaging procedures.

Troubleshoots and resolves problems regarding equipment and / or film output.

Acts as a resource and preceptor for other Radiographers or students.

May participate in training programs to enhance radiology skills.

Maintains records, inventory, and equipment for the area of primary responsibility.

Performs other duties as assigned.
