Coverage for vision care is included. This option is available on a cost-sharing basis. Dental Insurance - Available in conjunction with Health Insurance for an additional cost. Provides oral maintenance care for employee and dependent. Basic Life Insurance - Company provided benefit for all full-time employees. Supplemental Life Insurance - Optional life insurance coverage to employees at group rates. Dependant Life Insurance - Optional coverage for dependents at a group rate. Long Term Disability Insurance - Optional coverage available to employees at group rates. Vacation and Sick Leave - Leave accrual is determined by length of service. Holidays - The company observes ten paid holidays each year. Retirement 401(k) Plan - Centurum’s corporate benefits package includes 401K with a company bi-weekly match and a year-end profit sharing company match for all eligible employees. Job Description
The Computer Engineer II provides mid-level engineering support for the U.S. Navy’s combat systems and support equipment. This role involves full life cycle support, including design, development, testing, and implementation of computer hardware and software systems that enhance operational readiness and reduce lifecycle costs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Research, design, develop, and test computer hardware and software systems.
- Design and evaluate components such as chips, circuit boards, and peripheral equipment.
- Oversee manufacturing and installation of computer hardware and related systems.
- Develop and implement software systems for control of digital devices and Navy systems.
- Apply principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematics to software design and evaluation.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.
- Develop software for operating systems, network distribution, and compilers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related technical issues.
- Focus on algorithm development and advanced problem-solving.
- Utilize programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and occasionally Fortran or COBOL.

Compensation
$95,680 - $135,200 per year
Compensation for positions at Centurum vary depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, location, responsibilities, skill set, and level of experience.
