Physician - Hospitalist Per Diem

MaineHealth Franklin Hospital is seeking a Board Certified / Eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join our team as a per diem hospitalist in a community hospital setting in Farmington, Maine. Franklin Hospital is a non-profit, full-service community hospital located in the beautiful western mountain region. The successful candidate willjoin our current highly skilled Hospitalist physician team and supervised APP providers for daytime coverage, and physician nighttime coverage. Daytime shifts will work alongside an APP provider as well as another Hospitalist. The Hospital Medicine Service admits and cares for patients with a range of medical diagnoses. In addition, when appropriate, the team will admit and medically manage orthopedic and surgical patients in consultation with those specialties. Preoperative and ED consultative services are provided. Our Hospitalists also provide critical care, including ventilator management with fulltime onsite Respiratory Therapy support. The ability to perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, lumbar puncture, paracentesis and thoracentesis is preferred but not required.

Schedule : Per Diem- (Flexible)

Qualifications :

• MD / DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of Internal Med or Family Medicine residency program.
• Board Certified / Board Eligible.
