We are seeking a Remote Title Abstractor for a national title insurance company based in California.

Role Overview

As a vital contributor to our nationwide title services, you will support real estate transactions by assembling comprehensive title packages and conducting essential tax and escrow research. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality research to ensure seamless property closings.

Key Responsibilities

• Title Research: Conduct thorough investigations to compile search packages for residential transactions, ranging from standard to complex files.

• Operational Support: Navigate standard procedures and guidelines to provide accurate documentation for escrow and title closings.

• Problem Solving: Identify typical title issues and select appropriate solutions from established options to keep files moving forward.

• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure your support aligns with broader departmental goals and impacts the overall quality of service.

• Workload Management: Independently manage your daily tasks under general supervision, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met.

Experience & Qualifications

Required Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to perform title searches and investigate tax documentation.

• Communication: Ability to relay moderately complex information clearly within a team setting.

• Process Oriented: Strong understanding of standard industry procedures and the ability to follow rigorous guidelines.

Experience

• Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience in title insurance or real estate services.

Education & Certifications

• Degree Requirement: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
