Junior Financial Accountant

RAW is looking for a Junior Financial Accountant to join our growing team in Malta. As a Junior Financial Accountant you will be mainly responsible for revenue reconciliations   and also supporting the day-to-day accounting operations. The role requires the individual to liaise with multiple departments both internally and externally.

• Preparing the calculation of client revenue share, preparation of supporting schedules and posting of sales invoices in Dynamics365.
• Liaising with customers and assisting in the debt collection and following up on any discrepancies arising between our internal reporting vis-à-vis third party reporting.
• Contributing towards the day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger accounting entries, accounts receivable, inter-company reconciliations of the RAW Group.
• Support with the day-to-day, month-end and year-end operations of the finance department.
• Assisting with the VAT Returns.
• Assisting with annual statutory audits and other regulatory submissions.
• Any additional finance related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Finance role.    Experience in the gaming industry would be considered as an asset.
• Preferably, in the process of obtaining a qualification in Accountancy.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
• Organised and detail-oriented person.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English.
