Job description

Maintenance Technician

Peachford Hospital, is searching for an experienced Maintenance Technician for our busy Plant Operations department. The Maintenance Technician assists in maintaining a safe, functional, physical environment for patients, employees and guests. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks :

  • Repair and maintain HVAC equipment.
  • General repair, painting, and maintenance of hospital buildings.
  • Maintain grounds to include light landscaping, ice and snow removal and maintenance of parking lot.
  • Carry out routine plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work on plugged sewers, flush valves, specialty faucets.
  • Able to work on electrical from low voltage to 277V lights and ballasts.

    Qualifications What Peachford Requires For This Role? A high school diploma or GED is required for this role. General maintenance experience is preferred. Experience working in a Psychiatric facility preferred but not required.
