Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities? Holding Hands Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician.
Location : Calabasas CA Region. Sessions are completed in one of our clinics, the client's home, or another community location.
We work diligently to schedule your clients within 20 miles or 30 minutes (whichever is closest) to your home to minimize commute time.Pay : $22–$28 / hr depending on experience & education
Schedule : Part-Time Afternoons | 15 - 25+ hours per week
Sessions are primarily 2 - 4 hours eachAppointment based scheduling based on your availability and the client's availabilityMust be available at least 4 days per week, for a minimum of 15 hours after 3pmWhat You'll Do as a Behavior Technician
As a Behavior Technician, you'll use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children and teens in reaching their full potential.
You'll work one-on-one with clients in their home, school, or one of our welcoming clinics. Each day, you'll help your client learn new skills and reduce challenging behaviors in a fun, supportive, and meaningful way.

What your day might look like :Work 1-on-1 with kids and teens with autism and other developmental needsFollow a personalized therapy plan created by our clinical teamUse play, routines, and activities to help your client growTrack progress by taking notes and recording behaviorsEncourage independence and build everyday life skillsCelebrate every win—big or small!Don't worry if you\'re new to ABA—we'll provide you with thorough training to ensure you feel confident and prepared. You'll also have support from our caring, multi-disciplinary team every step of the way.

What We Are Looking For
A high school grad (or above) who enjoys working with childrenAt least 6 months of experience—paid or unpaid (volunteer or exposure) —supporting individuals with developmental disabilitiesSomeone energetic, patient, and ready to learnValid driver's license, own reliable source of transportation, and active auto insuranceWilling to travel locally for sessions with clients (30 minutes or less)Passion for working with children and youth with developmental disabilitiesBonus Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor\'s degreeABA experience or RBT CertifiedExperienced and comfortable managing a wide variety of maladaptive behaviors, ranging anywhere from non-compliance, elopement, verbal and physical aggression, self-injurious behaviors, etc.BilingualPerks You\'ll Love
