Summary :
At the ASPCA Animal Hospital (AAH), were on a mission to save lives and ease suffering. We provide critical care to victims of cruelty and neglect, working hand-in-hand with both internal partnersour ASPCA Adoption Center, Kitten Nursery, and Community Advocate Teamand external partners like the NYPD and other NYC organizations. We also extend our compassionate expertise by providing subsidized care exclusively for animals whose owners are experiencing financial challenges and could not otherwise afford medical care for their pet.
Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians are the heart of AAHdedicated, level-headed professionals with a passion for animal welfare and the skills to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. They collaborate seamlessly with our veterinary medical team to deliver top-tier, practical care, ensuring every patientwhether an outpatient or in-hospitalreceives efficient, skilled, and compassionate treatment. Additionally, our LVTs provide vital support for the Animal Recovery Center (ARC) when needed.

Compensation and Benefits :
Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role. The target hiring range is for new hire offers only, and staff compensation may increase beyond the maximum hiring range based on performance over time. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. The expected hiring salary range for this role is set forth below and may be modified in the future.
The target hiring range for this role is $34.60 - $37.00. In addition to a competitive salary this role offers a signing bonus.
