Job descriptionGreet and screen individuals entering the location, following site-specific policies and security-related procedures. Provide high-quality customer service by assisting visitors and employees and answering questions about site access. Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed. Assist with emergency response activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines. Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or suspicious activities to appropriate personnel. Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with X-Ray screening is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Tech / Media Screener in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a SCREENER in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and assisting with screening processes.
