THE OPPORTUNITY

Silvus is seeking a full-time Senior System Test & Automation Engineer who will report to the R&D Director, Implementation on the R&D team. The successful individual will collaborate with R&D teams to understand performance requirements, establish production tests and performance thresholds, and design and implement efficient and streamlined automated test setup and programs for wireless communication systems in a manufacturing environment.

Position based at Silvus Technologies headquarters in West Los Angeles, CA and is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and test complete solutions using Silvus hardware and software products that solve unique technical problems and provide full coverage of wireless communication system feature sets.
• Design and implement logging and log analysis tools to capture performance of both the systems under test and the test infrastructure itself.
• Help define new products and features to fill gaps and perform product evaluations and field tests and trials for new product features and accessories.
• Work closely with the software development team to augment production test systems to support rollout of new features and product configurations.
• Perform manufacturing failure troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production failures escalated to engineering.
• Test and harden existing features through firmware and hardware changes in realistic applications.

COMPENSATION

CA Pay Range : $130,000 - $180,000 USD.

The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
