Continental Disc Corporation, LLC (“CDC”) designs and manufactures safety-critical products that protect pressure-containing vessels from catastrophic failure. THE ROLE - An ASSEMBLER assembles rupture disc units of the highest quality and prepares them for shipping in a safe and cost-effective manner to ensure the best delivery in accordance with all company policies and manufacturing procedures. THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT - 2pm - 10pm.

Requirements

• Trim Teflon
• Clean rupture disc and holder parts
• Cut outside diameters of rupture discs
• Spot weld components
• Operate presses and other required equipment
• Use co-bots and other automated and robotic equipment
• Proof pressure and leak tests
• Inspect completed rupture disc assemblies to verify that they conform to specifications
• Assemble units and prepare them for shipping
• Perform any listed essential functions in a high-volume repetitive manner when required
• Utilize and supervise the performance of automated machines
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing machine performance issues
• Comply with company productivity and quality requirements
• Operate forklift when and as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need
