Job descriptionReason for Coverage : Shortage Practice Setting : Hospital base / 4 hours clinical Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day : based on patients coming into the ER. Trauma Level / Designation : III Documentation System / EMR : EPIC Number of Operating Rooms : 9 Number of General Surgeons in Practice : 4 Patient Age Demographic : Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric General Surgical Cases ADULT General Surgical Cases TRAUMA Laser Certification Chest Wall / Pleural Procedures Central Line Insertion PA Catheter Placement Ventilation Management Chest Tube Insertion Aneurysm repairs Abdominal, Peripheral, Vascular Access Devices AV Shunt Cholecystectomy Nissen Fundoplication Hernioplasty Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy & Colonoscopy Board Certified (ABOS, AOBOS) - REQUIRED Active VA license - REQUIRED (must be currently active, will not accept providers needing to obtain license) BLS / ACLS - REQUIRED COVID Vaccinated - Preferred; must have by time of credentialing Clean background is highly preferred MUST STATE AVAILABILITY AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR
