Datacenter Technician (Dallas)

One of the leading providers of best-in-class information technology services and solutions is looking for a Data Center Implementation Specialist to join their Dallas, TX team!

Our client is looking for a Data Center Implementation Specialist to support large-scale AI and cloud infrastructure by installing, configuring, and troubleshooting server, storage, and networking hardware. In this role, you will work hands-on with copper and fiber cabling, Linux-based systems, and network device CLIs across Cisco, Arista, Dell, and Juniper environments. You will monitor and resolve hardware / software issues, follow strict SOPs, maintain asset accuracy, and collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to support high-availability data center operations. You will also participate in change management, preventative maintenance, and on-call rotations, ensuring mission-critical systems remain stable, redundant, and secure.

Contract Duration : 6-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion

Required Skills & Experience

• 23+ years of data center rack / stack and hardware installation
• Experience with copper and fiber cabling
• Basic Linux CLI knowledge
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, L2 / L3)
• Ability to configure / verify network devices at a basic level
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro)
• Ticketing system experience (Jira preferred)
