Registered Nurse - IMC / W600 - Full Time Position

Summary :

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a competent healthcare professional who practices both independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting. This role involves providing a wide range of routine and complex care while developing long-term goals for patient recovery. The RN excels in managing various clinical contingencies and effectively delegates tasks to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities :

• Exhibits core competencies as a Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders, in line with OneCHRISTUS expectations.
• Delivers nursing care based on the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, employing the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families, adjusting approaches as necessary.
• Administers medications and treatments according to established protocols; carefully monitors for side effects and effectiveness.
• Maintains thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and provided care.
• Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers, identifying relevant issues and resources.
