Essential Duties And Tasks

• Support Quality Management in ensuring the Quality Management System is being followed.
• Work in conjunction with Manufacturing Management to ensure manufacturing and Quality Assurance procedures are being performed.
• Responsible for ensuring that all quality personnel are trained to perform their respective job functions.
• Support all activities associated with external audits.
• Support customer complaint and reject process to ensure accurate root cause analysis, timely response, and determination and implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor site quality metrics and work with management to develop counter measures as needed.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure product conformance through documented process monitoring and process controls methods.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required on the production floor at all times. This role operates in a professional environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is rarely exposed to non-toxic / nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot / humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area during extremely hot summer months.
