CPA Licensed Assistant Controller

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee accounting and reporting activities at newly acquired sites for compliance with internal policies and GAAP

Support tracking of project budgets and expenditures, providing documentation for audits and tax compliance

Collaborate with operational teams and lead tax and audit engagements with the Controller

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 7+ years in accounting or finance; CPA preferred

Experience with data migration, ERP implementations, and large data sets in Excel

Experience with NetSuite and Power BI is a plus

Experience in a start-up environment with agility and tolerance for ambiguity
